Affirimation of Faith

Affirmation of Faith
  • We believe that the Bible is the inspired and infallible word of God and it is the sole authority for faith and salvation (11 Timothy 3:16).

  • We believe that there is only one God, indivisible, manifested in the person of Jesus Christ (Deuteronomy 6:4). We believe that Jesus Christ is God manifested in the flesh (1 Timothy 3:16).

  • We believe that salvation is the gift of God and can only be obtained through Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12; Ephesians 2:8 – 10).

  • We believe that God commanded all men everywhere to repent. Except ye repent ye shall all likewise perish (Acts 17:30; Luke 13:3; Luke 24:47).

  • We believe and teach that water baptism must be performed by immersion in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins (Matthew 28:19 (Acts 2:38; 8:16; 19:5).

  • We believe that the initial evidence of the baptism of the Holy Ghost is speaking in tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance (Acts 2: 4&8; 1:5; 10:46; 19:6).

  • We believe Jesus Christ died, was buried and rose again on the third day (John 11:25).

  • We believe that godly, holy living should characterize the life of every born-again believer (Hebrew 4:12; 1 Peter 1: 15 – 16).
  • We believe in  the sacrament of communion as a memorial remembering the supreme sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ’s death on Calvary (1Corinthians 11: 23-34; Luke 22: 19-20).

  • We believe in mirroring the example set by our Lord Jesus Christ at the end of the Passover Supper where He took a towel, poured water in a basin and washed His disciple’s feet (John 13: 13-15).

  • We believe that a woman should wear a veil or a head covering when praying and prophesying. (1 Corinthians 11:2-16).

  • We believe that Jesus Christ through His sacrificial death on Calvary’s cross provided both healing for our physical body and salvation for our souls (Isaiah 53:5; Matthew 8:17; 1Peter 2:24).

  • We believe that tithing is God’s financial plan for His church (Malachi 3: 8-10).
We believe in the second coming of Jesus Christ for the redeemed (Acts 1:11; Matthew 24).

  • We believe that at the end of the 1000-year reign, all the dead shall be resurrected to face our Lord Jesus Christ at the Great White Throne Judgment. Those whose name are not written in the Lamb’s Book of Life will be cast into the lake of fire (Matthew 25:41; Revelation 20: 7 & 15; Revelation 21:8).
